| Here's how we do all repairs: |
| 1. Each tape is given a visual inspection. |
| 2. Each tape is opened to check that all internal parts are functional. We either repair any malfunction or change the entire shell. (No extra charge) |
| 3. If a tape requires a splice, we use only professional tools and supplies |
| 4. After the repair is completed, your tape is then visually inspected and tested. |
| All parts needed for a repair are brand new. |
| Each repair is guaranteed for one year. If your repair fails during this time period we will repair it for free including return postage. This applies to what was repaired and not a different problem. |

| While we can fix most VHS tape problems, we can NOT fix the following: |
| 1. Contamination such as water damage, dirt or sand, fungus or mold. Contact a tape restoration service for this. |
| 2. Erased tapes or sections. |
| 3. Serrated tape edges, see photo. This is permanent damage and is not fixable. |
| 4. Any format other than full size VHS. This includes: VHS-C, 8mm, Hi8, MiniDV, Digital 8. |

| One customer sent us only a reel of tape. No other parts. The shell was missing along with everything else. We completely rebuilt this tape for the customer for our standard price. |

| How to send us your tapes |
| 1. Place your tapes(s) in a sturdy container and pad with newspapers or foam material. |
| 2. Enclose completed repair form. |
| 3. Make check out to Louis Maienza Jr Productions. (Sorry, we do not accept money orders or credit cards) |
| 4. Ship by US mail only. Shipment by other carriers is not advised and delay your repair. |
| 5. Your tape(s) will be returned by US mail |
